Skin Care Tips
Do you know Toner or Face Mist?
Toners are often misunderstood and most people don't know if they should use it or how to use it. Before moisturizing and following your facial cleanser, a face toner is a quick, absorbing liquid that helps to remove excess dirt, traces of oil and makeup, correct and balance the pH of your skin, and helps control acne.
A facial mist has become one of our must-have daily essentials — especially in humid weather or post-gym. It cools you down while giving your skin a sultry dew.
The Difference Between Facial Mists and Toners
While both facial mist and toner, share some similar benefits, their roles in skin care regimen differ. Now that toners are available in spray bottles too, they cause a lot more confusion.
Simply put, toners are astringents which help deep clean and shrink your pores, and facial mists contain nourishing oils that keep the skin hydrated and moisturized, but they do nothing for your pores.
While facial mists are simply sprayed on face to refresh the skin throughout the day, or on top of the makeup to set it, toners are often applied with a cotton ball after cleansing the face.
